"FANS" is a program designed to cause Fathers
(Positive Role models) to take an active role in the lives students and to have a direct impact on their success and the self
esteem of each student that participates.

|
 |
|
MISSION: Our
goal is to motivate students to have high self esteem and to maximize their potential. We want to have a presence on
campus, and encourage students to meet the academic and social expectations of the school, their family, and their community.
|
 |
|
PRINCIPLES:
Education - main priority.
The F.A.N.S. will support students and teachers in the education process. F.A.N.S. will model and teach moral character
and leadership.
Encouragement- Proper education will encourage students. F.A.N.S. will seek
to affirm students with a goal of giving the students proper self esteem. By being positive examples, we will encourage students
to be productive and respectful members of the school community and the community at large.
Empowerment
- Once the student has accepted their role in their education and community, we will look to empower them to have a positive
impact in the school community. We will seek to work with the school administration and community to give the students
opportunities to lead.
Expectation - The goal will be to help students to accept that society,
the school, and loved ones will have the expectation that they can and will succeed. To accept and understand that others
will always have those expectations of them. The F.A.N.S. will expect them to do "their" best in all they do while
being an asset to others.
