One of the missions of PTSA is to instill a belief in good citizenship in our children. The Varina High School PTSA adheres
to that part of the PTSA mission by promoting celebration of success as examples of good citizenship in our student community.

Each nine week period the PTSA Board, the Faculty,
and the Staff of Varina select students in each grade level to receive recognition in one of the following four categories:

Teachers' Choice
Students Helping the PTSA
Academic Improvement
